Dr. Peter Wanzala
Director of Zion Medical Clinic & Founder
With a background in medical training and leadership development, Dr. Peter is committed to serving disadvantaged people in rural communities. His vision is to create a compassionate environment where health professionals can fulfill their desire to serve vulnerable communities.
A graduate of Kampala International University with a Bachelor's degree in Surgery and Medicine, Dr. Wamboka brings passion and expertise to the clinic. He is a full-time employee of the Bududa hospital and volunteers his time to the Zion Clinic.
A graduate from Chemiquip Medical Laboratory Training School, Robert has been a volunteer at Zion Clinic since its founding. He continues to generously donate his time, while also being a local government employee.

As a social worker by profession, Mirriam is among
the founders of Zion, as she began volunteer in 2015. Mirriam views this project as if it were here own child, and works as a human resource manager, cook, and caretaker for our volunteers.
She loves to give local people a chance for a brighter future and is always grateful for all the help and volunteers that share our love for the people.

She is passionate about helping the community of Zion Medical Clinic and seeing patients walk away with improved health.
She enjoys the interactions between all our staff and patients and greatly appreciates all the gracious donations that our visitors bring to support clinic activities.
She looks forward to the progress and growth of ZMC as it spreads a smile on the community and is pleased to be a part of it.
